A lot of discussion about Rooney tonight. I know it's newsworthy but half the build-up was a bit unnecessary

With Goodman on Chelsea and Smith in the studio, I will guess Gray for Arsenal and Smith tomorrow on Man Utd. (Provan on Rangers).

[Im really pushing the boat out on this one]

They start at 6pm tomorrow, and have 105 mins to fill. I predict a good 60 of them will be spent discussing our favourite Scouser.

I assume Leslie and Goodman did the Spartak Moscow game as I don't see it mentioned.

You assume correctly ... only heard the goal call for the opener and it was very much a Bill Leslie goal call.

I wonder if tomorrow it'll be Ben Shepard presenting the Rangers game, since it's on one of the "main" Champions League channels.

Last Matchday, Rangers were on Wed too, on SS4, and it was David Tanner with Neil McCann alongside...

Where Leslie and Goodman in Russia..? sounded like it they way they talked... I just thought (even British teams) they didn't go to Russia.

I could have sworn Rangers were on Tuesday last time out, but sure enough it was Wednesday.

Ah well then...!

Richard Keys virtually confirmed himself tomorrow to present, alongside Eidur Gudjohnson, Graeme Souness and Dwight Yorke.

What do you mean by "main" channels? They are never going to be behind the red button.

I meant SS4/HD4.

SS2/HD2 = Sky's "1st pick" for the night
SS4/HD4 = Entry point to interactive streams

When Rangers play on a Tuesday (which is what I mistakenly thought they played on last time), they tend to be on SS3/HD3 which is brought into services as more of an extra channel.
