For me it's not a big issue. Shepherd, Jones and Chamberlain are all fine, very competent and professional - it wouldn't make much difference which of them were chosen.

However the outstanding presenter at Sky is Jeff Stelling, and it doesn't look like he is in the frame. Jeff has a lot of other irons in the fire, so it would be hard for him to fit in a Super Sunday, but it's a shame as he has the warmth, wit and dynamism that the others lack.

I would have thought it was Tyler on 3D last night since he didn't cover England on the World Feed. Wonder when the last time Tyler, Tyldsley or Mowbray didn't commentate on England in some form or another. :/

Ian Darke says he "believes" he'll be on USA vs. Argentina (in New York) and USA vs. Paraguay (in Nashville) for commentary on March 26th and March 29th.

Never caught the game in 3D Tonight, Don't know the comms I am afraid.

It was Tyler and Neil McCann - and they showed them in vision at the start! Shephard said "If you're wating in 3D, your commentators aren't The Blues Brothers, it's Neil McCann and Martin Tyler...", with the pair in glasses, then... "And for everyone else, it's Davie Provan and Bill Leslie", and it cut to a shot of those two. I dunno if anyone noticed they showed Hawthorne and Goodman in vision before Stoke vs Sunderland.

Out of interest, where were Tyler and McCann sitting? I had the impression that previous 3-D commentaries were done "off-tube" so that they could benefit from the monitor view. I guess it would be hard to sit in the stand and watch the live action through 3D glasses.

Not sure, they were certainly in a gantry but not the gantry where Leslie and Provan were, there was no pan or anything. You could see Martin starting to speak as well.

I thought BBC had the highlights to that game (away qualifier to Ukraine I think it was), and wasn't Mowbray on it?

Does anyone know who the commentator is on PremIer Sports TV 's coverage of Estudiantes LP v Newell's Old Boys.

I think he does all the Argentine Primera Division games for the World Feed. Sounds very much like Richard Kaufman!!

There's a BSP game kicking off at 7:15 tonight, is that on Premier Sports? An interesting KO time.

Police would never allow a big PL game at that time, the Brum derby anyone?

Good line up of guests for the match today. They are getting across the 'big game' feel. Early days yet but Ed Chamberlin has been impressive so far.

For the record, it's Ed Chamberlain, with Jamie Redknapp, Dwight Yorke & Mike Summerbee.

After that video of highlights of last seasons game between the two, I just had a feeling it might be repeat commentators, Rob Hawthorne and Alan Smith.

Jamie Redknapp has near enough appeared on every Premier League broadcast since that 'One afternoon in Molineaux'.

I think Glen Hoddle could do very well on MNF, he's a good pundit, but that doesn't mean it will necessary transfer across to the gantry. Sky have had more good, than bad co-coms in these MNF experiments so to speak.

Commentators:

3D - Chris Coleman and Daniel Mann
HD - Alan Smith and Martin Tyler

All four appearing invision before match.

The 3D team appeared first, then to the HD team and Tyler with a bit of banter regarding the other team. He said something about sitting next to Coleman at a match before, who was sat in seat 3D, so he is taking his job very seriously indeed. He had a bit of a laugh when they appeared in the 3D glasses too.

Much bigger 'And It's Live' today.

I wonder if Sky are considering signing Chris Coleman? He has appeared as a pundit this past week already, and now in the co-com position, which he has done both for alot for ITV.
