I Don't buy Celtics "We don't want Rangers" that's for sure.

Off-topic but this doesn't appear to be what Celtic are saying and I think this is a case of a story being "sexed up" by the media (as is often the case with Celtic and Rangers stories) more than anything else.

Having read his quotes, what Peter Lawwell (Celtic chief executive) has said is that Celtic are not reliant on other clubs to be a solvent business and that Rangers' troubles will not push them into a financial crisis of their own. This story has come about from Celtic releasing their own financial results today which, although their pre-tax profits are down on their last set of figures that were swelled by the Aiden McGeady sale, seem to be fairly healthy given the current economic climate.

Zapp's right - Rangers almost certainly won't go bust or get relegated. The biggest thing to come from them going into administration is that, under UEFA's rules on administration, it is likely that they won't be able to enter European competitions for the next three seasons. This would open up the prospect of non-Glasgow teams entering the Champions League in the qualifying rounds should Scotland's UEFA league coefficient improve by three places.

The 2012-2013 Champions League will be based on the five seasons up to 2010-2011 which means Scotland will have two teams in the Champions League qualifying rounds next season.

Yeah, it's too cold to play on an evening so the game was brought forward to 3pm local time. Former Man Utd goalkeeper Roy Carroll came on and saved a penalty for Olympiacos after their #1 keeper was sent off.

I have to say I miss the old days of UEFA Cup games kicking off at random times. Nothing can ever beat a Channel 5 triple bill starting in the middle of the afternoon with some totally random pairings of commentators.
