Yeah, the site was set up early July 2010. We never celebrated it's birthday.

Seems like a bit of a mess. Premier Sports, but with a Setanta DOG. And what's the white square on the top right?

According to DigiGuide, Sam Matterface will be commentating on one of the Audi Cup matches on ITV4 tomorrow, with Clive Tyldesley on the other. That's certainly a left-field choice if that information proves to be correct (the programme information on DigiGuide today correctly said it would be Steve Bower and Tyldesley commentating today, so there's no reason to assume the information is incorrect).

^^ The game was in a 20 minute delay due to lightning storms in the New York City/Queens area. Pitch looks terrible because it's on a baseball field.

Macca needs to find something else to say about Club America besides "they're fitter than Juventus".

Would've been nice to get an explanation on that from GolTV Canada (the Canadian broadcaster of the game). They showed 30 minutes of filler programming and didn't give viewers a reason why.

Davis isn't the worst American commentator, but him and Macca can be hard to listen to for 90 minutes.

ESPN2 Australia just followed what ESPN2 in the United States did and went to Sportscenter. ESPN3.com just had there normal splash screen up with the words weather delay

White square was from the person streaming the game.

Setanta Ireland took Premier's coverage.

Are they on-site?

And don't tell me those two co-coms are a sign of things to come?

I think they're on site, Tyler's certainly got enough anecdotes about things that have happened there, and mentioning being at the first, so I think it's always on-site

And as I mentioned, the commentary is a international feed job, not Sky. They used Paul Walsh two years ago and he's not done anything more than Soccer Saturday and maybe Football First. Curbishley'a regular on the Premier League TV coverage anyway, whether it's punditry or commentary
