I think Leslie has now done more PLP feed games than Sky live PL matches.

Says it all, really.

Anyone else slightly annoyed at the odd bits of football build-up interrupting a 40-minute ad break on ITV4 now?

WTF was up with ITV going straight to commercial literally 30 seconds after the celebrations came for Zambia?

Drury and Beglin sounded ridiculously off-tube. Especially Beglin.

Kevin Keatings and Garry Birtles did Villarreal v Granada for Sky. I presume Palmer and Armstrong did Madrid v Levante but didn't see any of the match

I thought Drury and Beglin done a good job, despite the soundmix being awful.

Yeah, looks almost certain if Rangers go into Administration they will drop 10 points.

Maybe it's time I stopped buying kids tickets and buy an Adult's ticket and give them a few more £££'s in the coffers !

I Don't buy Celtics "We don't want Rangers" that's for sure. Neither will Sky/ESPN.... SPL minus old firm games. The hype around the Edinburgh derby is bigger than what it is, look at the empty seats at the recent one!!

When I spoke to Ian Crocker last year he said it would be a bad thing if there was only 2 Old Firm games if they increased league size, and overall league needs 4 OF matches a season.

Sky's agreement with the SPL stipulates there must be four Old Firm games each season, all live on Sky. If Rangers were to go completely bust or find themselves outside of the SPL it would presumably mean the contract would need to be renegotiated.

However, admin will only see 10 points deducted, they'll still be odds on to finish second and in no danger of relegation so it shouldn't have any effect on the TV deal.
