As Josh mentioned on his Twitter, Darren Anderton will be on Canada's coverage of Euro 2012.

Just beat me to posting that here SS. Wondering, has Anderton ever did media work before?

I was waiting for this which I'm sure may be of more interest. Here are the World feed commentators confirmed by TSN.

Steve Bower (Poznan and Wroclaw Matches)
John Helm (Kyiv and Lviv Matches)
Tony Jones (Warsaw and Gdansk Matches)
David Woods (Kharkiv and Donetsk Matches)

Can't believe no Steve Banyard and that John Helm is still doing this. Might be the worst international feed group FIFA/UEFA have ever put together for a World Cup/Euro.

Question is, you'd think Bower should be #1 comm there out of that 4 for the world feed (Homesdale don't shudder! ). I suspect it will be more likely Helm that would get the final? Was it Helm for Euro 08 final?

Hopefully I can get Talksport or 5 Live to line up with my TV, somehow. I don't mind Bower (although I've only heard him a few times). Jones is okay. Woods is really a rugby league guy, so I don't understand how he gets all these big international feed football gigs. Helm is just horrible.

I believe it was Helm in 2008. Not sure as I watched the final on ABC with Healey and Gray (I think). Don't have that option this year because ABC isn't showing any matches.

I posted them in the order they were sent to me. Hopefully that means Bower for the final.

Woods had his best football commentary season on five this season, I felt he spoke a bit less and generally sounded more like he was on TV rather than radio! He's grown on me to be a solid 'Tony Jones' type commentator!

Final is in Kyiv, NB. So it's Helm for the final.

Not a pressing issue but for the sake of keeping records and all of that would anyone object to a "part 5.5" of this thread just for Euro 2012 up to summer preseason?

Sounds like a good idea SS. Maybe a thread just for Euro 2012 and then we have it all in one thread with no interruptions of us posting the 7634 commentators ESPN need for their pre-season coverage.

You say that, but my money's on Steve Bower doing them all.

Which reminds me, I've got Cameroon as my surprise team for Euro 2012.

Some information about Setanta Coverage of Euro2012, half the information I gathered off a article written about Starhub (Singapore) which looks like they are sharing the same feed

Paul Dempsey will be joined by a host of ex-International players selected from Dietmar Hamann, Gary McAllister, Andy Cole, David O’Leary and Dennis Wise. Match commentary will be provided by Martin Fisher, Connor Morris, Brian Little and Gary Breen.

Where does Setanta have Euro rights? Australia, I'm guessing? Anywhere else?

Australia I think is it, I don't know what their agreement is with StarHub they seem to be selling the tournament as a PPV package for $69.55.
