I'm not a fan of an FL team (yet) but here's a thread for FL chat (inc. all FL related cup competitions)

Well I am a fan of a FL club. I have to admit that last season I actually started to enjopy life again as a Saints fan.

I'll bump this thread up a bit... Sad seeing the News of Exeter's Adam Stansfield, who died just age 31 due to Cancer.

This thread is BOOMING!

Hull seem to be going in the right direction now, a nice 5-1 over Scunthorpe to get revenge for losing at our place earlier in the season in the final minute. Fear for Scunny, don't know if they can stay up. Matty Fryatt looking an excellent buy for 1.25mil, 6 goals in 7 games.. or 6 in 6 league games And McLean now on the scoresheet today grabbing two. Poor Jay Simpson who had just found his goal scoring touch before the transfer window opened.

Meanwhile Jimmy Bullard... yes him... has gone to Ipswich.. KANU BELIEVE THAT! Didn't want to go to Celtic (despite Champions League football at the time) in Summer, but opted to go back to Paul Jewell in January. Suppose we are saving some money, although still paying a chunk of his wages.

We have a good relationship with Man Utd, Cameron Stewart, James Chester and Corry Evans all from there, and all looking good buys (loan for Evans). It's nice to be sneaking up the table un-noticed, and all of a sudden, promotion doesn't look too far away (6 points I think). Although I would prefer to stay down this season, continue to develop and evolve as a team, before taking a crack at it next seasoon. Nigel Pearson and his team doing a brilliant job, as is Adam Pearson sorting the wage bill. Great to have new owners too, wiping our debt. UTT!

Would like Forest or Leeds to come up. Both short away trips from Sheffield, and have Forest friends so good for banter etc

I'll go for QPR, Forest and one of the South Wales teams to go up though, ooh, let's say Swansea

Wouldn't be surprised if the bottom three stays the same

QPR are certainties I'd have thought. I'd personally like Forest & Leeds to come up. Much as I hate Leeds, I'd rather we were playing them twice a season in games with a bit of feeling in them than the likes of Wigan and Stoke.

Oh yeah, I know one of them saw four go down, with the next league seeing four come up. Exciting!

Can't wait for Phil Brown to return to the KC Stadium next week, that said, I hope the result doesn't go against us, as things like this do in Football. Ian Ashbee could be playing against us too.

It would have to be a catastrophe now to see QPR not finish in the top two. That said, when they cant to play us at the KC Stadium a few weeks back, they looked pretty average. Just a big bullying team with a creative player in Taarabt - but when we played, Taarabt wanted to be subbed off because he didnt like the chanting and whistling we was giving him for basically being a diva - leaving the rest of the team looking lost for ideas. If only Matty Fryatt kept that shot down in the dying seconds and we would be two points richer.

Casinoman and Peter Brackley were seen dancing in the streets when Brighton were promoted to the Championship. Well at least Casinoman was, Peter did his off-tube.
