Please ship Nani back to Portugal.

Worst. Weekend. Ever. Toronto FC collapse and we can't solve the Craven Cottage Curse.

Can't agree on Nani. It was a crap penalty, but he still did more in 20 minutes than Park Ji-Sung did in 70. It was his cross for the 2nd goal too.

Can we at least agree on how awful Jonny Evans was? Looked like he was drunk or something and was shocking in the 2nd half.

Definately. None of the defence covered themselves in glory, both Fulham goals were absolutely diabolical from a defensive viewpoint.

With Transfer now closed in the EPL I am looking at the teams (None I support) I feel sorry for Liverpool, they look a distance side I think, they look no where near top 4 contenders. Signings like Konchesky, yes he is a good player, but not a top class player, like what Liverpool 'a top class' team is perceived to be.

Liverpool will be top four contenders - I think they'll finish 4th in fact. OK, Konchesky may not be the best left-back in the world, but some of the other signings have been decent - I think Cole, Jovanovic, Meireles and Poulsen will all do fairly well. Torres got a goal at the weekend, that might get things going for him

Will they win the league? Not a chance. But good enough for top four

I'd love to see if the PL would bend the transfer deadline day rules for Wigan/Blackburn etc. I doubt it

I agree. VDV's another big name for the league though, so they'd have wanted to let it go through.

And in response to the posts above, there's no way we're finishing the top 4 this season.

The main reason Konchesky was signed was because he counts as homegrown.
Meireles, Cole, Poulsen and Jovanovic are great signings, 2 for free. Jovanovic especially has started off the season on a high.
Will we get in the top 4? Tough to say. If we do get 4th it will be very scrappy, 5th is the most realistic and I reckon we can make the top 5.

Inexcusable defending in stoppage time. We've got to get some new defenders to help Vidic. Rio won't be in vintage form any time soon when he comes back.

United could have killed the game, 2nd time they've done that away this season.
Chelsea are in unstoppable form at the moment.
Blackpool are flying at the moment, but I still wouldn't get carried away. Chelsea next weekend...
Everton battered United in the first half, and I am annoyed that once again Ferguson has influenced the ref's decision. But we are talking about Martin Atkinson, the worst referee in the league

Chelsea have had the easiest schedule out of all the teams. Man City, Arsenal, and Villa will test how good they are and even then City looks like 6th place material at the moment.

Piquionne for West Ham should be shot for missing such an easy sitter against Chelsea....would've made the game 3-2.

Even though Chelsea beat Villa by 7 last time they played, Villa are always decent against them.
Not looking forward to tomorrow, Birmingham is always a tough place to go. We need to avoid Torres Gerrard etc getting injured, we will need all hands on deck against Man United next sunday

Thought we were right in that game against Arsenal until the red card (I wouldn't have given it, but can sort of see why). Ruined my birthday anyway

I'm really beginning to despise some Arsenal fans though, I'm sick of their "You can't breathe on our players, you should be relegated for daring to make a tackle" attitude. Gallas or Diaby anyone?

I too think Arsenal need to learn bad tackles and injuries do happen, it is unfortunate however they always seem to have lots of injuries. Thommo on Soccer Saturday said it shouldnt have been a red, was hoping Arsenal/Bolton would be GOTD

I can see why they're upset with the likes of individual tackles, like the Shawcross and Martin Taylor incidents, because they inflicted serious injuries, but I was struck by the hypocrisy last year when some Arsenal fans were almost condoning Gallas' tackle on Mavies (Mark Davies for the rest of you), in the end he wasn't out for too long but it looked awful at the time

I understand the tackles were damaging, but certainly what Wenger said about Taylor (that he should never play again) or Shawcross (he was trying to cause serious damage when he wasn't as all the viewers could see) were needless and out of order
