An on-site Drew Gordon and Mark Foster doing the European Swimming Championships for British Eurosport, with Keri Anne Saude (of Eurosport Germany) doing the interviews.

Drew also give it a bit of the old 'Come in Paris, Hello Paris, Can you hear Me?' in his opening link of the Morning session.

Andy Bodfish covered the evening session on Monday, when the ISDN broke down twice.

Simon Golding and Chris Snode (who NEVER has a good word to say about any of the competitors) doing the 1m Women's Diving competition.

I swear one of the Italian competitors looked like one of the actresses from "The Goonies"

Silly decision really with them having the evening final(s) sessions on the Red Button only.

Coverage on Eurosport has been fairly good, despite the technical hitches of the first day. It's taken time for Mark Foster to fit in with Drew Gordon's style though. I'm not sure why James Parrack isn't there.

Tim Caple was with Chris Snode today for the mens 1m springboard diving

He's brilliant on the 'Pool Talk' Eurosport do after the Live events (helpedno doubt by that fact that the other two people are speaking English as their 2nd language) - For some early heats though it seems to be Mark commentating

Guessing by that then (I've yet to see any of Wednesday's action) they would be off-tube?

Yeah, sometimes he commentates on the whole race and sometimes he's expecting Drew to come back in, but he never does. I like some of that though, it makes it seem a very relaxed commentary between the two of them

I thought that when I saw your post, but thinking back Tim Caple was giving out the scores very quickly. Either they are there and he could see the scoreboard or the marks were coming up on their computer before on the tv feed.

I never knew how much of a Pool man David Bobin was! covering it on SS4 at the moment.

Bit late just seen news on RWC 2011/2015, good it seems to have a good home on ITV. Wonder if they will get Miles Harrison and Stuart Barnes back, if they don't their stuck, especially as John Champion is away to ESPN. (I know its a year a way but still!)

O/T ITV Had RWC from 1991, who covered it in 1987?

BBC had it in 1987 - I don't think the level of live coverage was as much as ITV have provided (although it did take place in Australia and NZ). Wasn't born then though so not sure of exact details!!

The Eurosport adventures of the week continue today as Mark Foster's lost his voice so Drew Gordon is flying solo tonight.

Also, I only noticed earlier today that while the swimming is in HD the diving isn't. Seems a strange decision, not sure why it's the case.

Ah, I guessed he wouldn't make it (watching the Thursday morning heats ATM).

As per the Diving, isn't it on a different site or something?

I think it is, but I don't think it's too far away from where the swimming is. I would have thought it would have been able to cover both in HD
