They haven't told us that over here, just a message scrolling across the bottom of the screen saying "Kick off will follow shortly" every couple of minutes since 9pm (our time)

EDIT: Commentary by Rob Stone & Taylor Twellman

Twellman isn't bad so far but Stone is pathetic.

They'll have to go some to be as bad as the pair doing United-Celtic last night!!

"Ma-she"da!" ;-)

The score graphic looks compressed for some reason.

Speaking of Stone, this photo is absolutely necessary.

Did I hear them say that John Terry was keeping Jermaine Jenas out of the England squad?

Yes you did. Big surprise to me. Could've sworn it was David James who beat out Jenas.

Tottenham is apparently one of the best teams in the world!!!

Two games down, two really bad commentaries. Fox Soccer Channel will handle the next friendly for Tottenham.

Haha, I'll have to go digging for the video of him eating chilli's.

Does Rob 'Never wear white after Labor Day' Stone do much football commentary for ESPN?

EDIT: Didn't take long to find!

I thought it was Keisuke Honda, but hey what do I know?

Or THE Spurs as they were often called. Some of the phrasing is excellent, love calling the goal the cage!

Is Rob Stone high up the list of ESPN's football commentators?

Stone is buried in the ESPN football commentator depth chart but he does a lot of work across all sports the network covers.

Max Bretos and Taylor Twellman will handle Man Utd/Philadelphia whilst JP Dellacamera and John Harkes will fawn over Landon Donovan during the MLS All-Star XI vs. Man Utd match.

Tim Caple and Russell Osman covered FC Twente v Deportivo for Eurosport. It was the third place playoff of the Uhren Cup and the winning penlaty was missed by the HB, who preferred to show the players on the halfway line!

Final to come later, I presume it'll be the same pair but I'll be watching the rugby

These commentaries are done off-tube, for the record. FSC cheap as usual.

Dunseth actually had a long career in MLS and has been switched from co-commentator to match commentator in a few months.
