Surely it could have worked out better in that they could have got the 2nd leg of the Man Utd game which is surely the tie of the round! It's seemed to me that the majority of the biggest 2nd legs have been on Tuesday in recent years - is this trend continuing and does it mean ITV will now be favoured in the distribution of matches?

Also this should mean that Man Utd V Everton now stays as a Sunday 4pm kick-off.

ITV4 will show the African Nations Cup in a few weeks - 20 live games (half of all group games, and the whole of the knockouts)

Matt Smith will be presenter with main analysts being Fabrice Muamba, Kanu and Quinton Fortune

In terms of the FA Cup draw, if Liverpool and Man Utd go through then...

Oldham v Liverpool - ITV
Leeds/Birmingham v Spurs - ESPN
Southend/Brentford v Chelsea - ESPN
Man Utd v Fulham/Blackpool - ITV
Millwall v Aston Villa - ESPN

It depends if relays can be played before picks are made

However, I don't think Man Utd or Villa games should be picked. If Arsenal get through and then the Man City games should be picked.

There's no way with this draw that Utd should be picked if they get through

Yea, I made this post while still only registering half the ties

Assuming they get through, Arsenal should slot in place of Man Utd and Man City in place of Villa.

Based on DS, the 5 will be:

Hudds vs Leicester
Derby vs Blackburn
Reading vs Sheff Utd
'Boro vs Aldershot
Hull/Orient vs Barnsley

As mentioned, depends on the deadline for picking ties. ITV will probably pick Man Utd though - what I think they could do though is take it as first pick, but put it in an early slot (just in case West Ham won the replay). The way it's worked out they can still pick one of Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City or Tottenham's ties and put that in the evening

If they tried that, then most probably ESPN would snap up the Saturday evening and Sunday evening slots. I think they could probably get away with having it as a 4th pick. There's enough ambiguity for it not to be in the top 3 in my view - even if Man Utd are playing I don't really think it should be one of the picks!

I'm a little disappointed both with the dates and the matches shown for the replays. I expected the Man Utd game to be chosen but would prefer there not to be 2 PL v PL games when there are FL V PL ties too. Most obviously, both matches being on a Wednesday takes away another dose of evening football next week!

ITV have moved there TV nights around for champions league. I.e was on Wednesday now on Tuesday so Corrie could ba back on Wednesday. I would of thought Man Utd being on Tuesday.

But just realised next weekend Man Utd playing Spurs on Sunday and that is the reason why!

It's an 8.05pm kickoff, so I assume they're showing Corrie as per normal and just coming on air at 8

I am very surprised that Millwall V Villa isn't on TV as that must be a certain chance of a upset??

News International have won near-live clip rights to the Premier League from 2013-16, so they can show mobile clips like ESPN Goals do now, and can also have online highlights from Monday onwards
