ESPN will show the Leicester v Huddersfield replay on Feb 12th (Tue), kickoff 7.30

Not officially confirmed that ITV are showing Chelsea v Brentford, I presume it's a case of settling on a date and kickoff time

From the FA website. This is going to get slightly confusing?

Sunday 17 February 2013 Fourth Round Proper
Kick Off No. Home Away Live on
15:00 12R Chelsea VS Brentford Kick off - to be confirmed
Kick off - to be confirmed

Wednesday 27 February 2013 Fifth Round Proper
Kick Off No. Home Away Live on
19:45 8 Middlesbrough VS Brentford / Chelsea

So guessing by this. ITV replay will be as guess Chelsea on the Sunday at 1pm to allow extra etc???
Followed by there 5th round match at 4pm?

Now ITV will be hoping Brentford don't do a Luton and win as the other match ITV will be showing is Boro V Chelsea??

From Charles Sale: Sky and BBC back in bidding against ITV

Sky Sports, who turned their backs on England football internationals after losing the contract in 2007, will be back covering the national team after the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
It is understood that UEFA’s media agents CAA Eleven, who are selling rights for England’s qualifying games for Euro 2016 and the 2018 World Cup, are close to agreeing deals with ITV and Sky for live matches and highlights.

Sky’s former sports overlord Vic Wakeling snubbed the FA for a number of years after the ruling body preferred to have England games shown on the doomed Setanta network. But the effort Sky Sports News put into their live coverage of the FA’s 150th anniversary launch showed the relationship has been repaired.
Another TV boost for the FA is that the BBC, who are desperately short of live football, are showing early interest in bidding in the next tender for the FA Cup contract.

I always had a feeling UEFA would want all England games live free-to-air - they always insist on selling first pick games in the CL and EL to FTA , and there's a similar situation for the Euros in countries where they sell some rights to Pay TV

Meanwhile, speaking of the FA Cup - fifth round weekend coverage
Saturday
Luton v Millwall, 12.45, ESPN
Oldham v Everton, 6pm, ITV

Sunday
Chelsea v Brentford replay, 12pm, ITV
Man City v Leeds, 2pm, ESPN
Leicester/Huddersfield v Wigan, 3.55, ITV

Monday
Man Utd v Reading, 8pm, ESPN

I am not sure if it has been confirmed on previous pages but the BT Sport Twitter feed has confirmed it's channels will be available on Sky, but the price for the channel will not be confirmed until the summer.

At the moment it is nothing more than a page to register your interest in the channels. It is interesting to note it asks who provides your broadband and if you are a Sky customer. I agree on pricing I thought both ESPN and Setanta were reasonably priced.

The website is https://www.btsport.com/

BT will buy up ESPN's TV channels on July 31, except for ESPN Classic, which will eventually close. The idea is to keep at least one ESPN branded channel - so I reckon BT Sport 1, BT Sport 2 and a rejigged ESPN focusing on American sports.

Also, BBC Two will show this season's Women's FA Cup final. Better for it to be on terrestrial TV

FA Cup semi final details:
Wigan v Millwall - Sat 13th Apr, 5.15pm, ESPN (buildup from 4.15pm, shorter than the other semis they've done)
Man Utd or Chelsea v Man City - Sun 14th Apr, 4pm, ITV

Also BT have updated the FAQ page for BT Sport. Key points
- It will be on Sky but you have to get directly from BT (like it was with Setanta)
- They're in talks with VM
- No mention of Eredivisie or Russian Premier League which are both on ESPN at the moment. Presumably those contracts are up at the end of the season and it's anyone's guess whether BT carry on with them
- BT will show the Emirates Cup

With the replay being on Easter Monday and with the Chelsea match reverting back to Saturday 30th, what are SKY going to do?? Leave it as is and move the pick to another day?? Is it also possible for SKY to show the rearranged match of Everton and Arsenal on the 16th April, depending on picks of course??

BBC have confirmed their Euro 2013 women's coverage - all 7.30 kickoffs live on BBC Three, with England's daytime games and the final on BBC Two. Highlights of other games will be during the BBC Three coverage.

The same press release pretty much confirms the BBC will show the Confederations Cup too

As we now know BT sport will be offering Premier league football for Free along with their other sports on the 2 sports channels + ESPN channel.

Does anybody disagree that this won't be success??

I believe this will be and in 3 years time I believe BT will be having more premier League games than SKY??
